In our quests to provide more accuracy, more perspectives, and more engagement with our students, teachers can now include the local and regional tribal perspectives about the Lewis & Clark Trail.

Students hear-through tribes' oral traditions-accounts of their first contact with non-Indians. What's more, teachers present current controversies and struggles tribes face today that result from that first encounter.
